In this video, Sheikh Yasir Qadhi refutes Usama Hasan’s claim that Adam (as) was born to non-human parents. Yasir Qadhi is of the view that there is nothing Islamically objectionable to the theory that animals and species evolved. HOWEVER, this cannot be true for Adam (as) and humans as there are explicit and unambiguous texts from the Qur’an and the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) informing us that Adam (as) was created directly by God and without any parents.
