[ltr]After the discovery of that the Earth is spherical, it became evident that in every moment there is a point where the sun rises from and another point in the West where the sun sets. When the sun rises on a specific point on earth it sets in another point on the West. This is due to the earth's rotation around itself. Therefore, there is an infinite number from East and West points. This fact is alluded to in the Glorious Quran Surat Al-Maarij 70:40, ‘Now I do call to witness the Lord of all points in the East and the West …’ All glory is due to Allah, the Almighty.[/ltr]
