[ltr]Scientists say that sun burns millions of tons of its fuel every second, so that someday sun will lose its fuel and its light will end. Allah Almighty says that this event will happen in day of resurrection as He says: (When the sun Kuwwirat (wound round and lost its light and is overthrown){ Sûrat At-Takwîr- Wound Round and Lost its Light-verse1}This holy verse tells us that sun will not lose its light suddenly but it will be gradually till it dies, exactly like all creatures[/ltr]
