Scientists have proven that psychological pressure to which man is exposed causes certain types of cancer and that stress is bad for the heart. Specialists even confirm that a large part of strong pressures result from psychological problems that we face while dealing with others, but for which we find no solutions. Psychologists, however, affirm that the best method for solving such problems is forgiveness and tolerance. Miraculously enough, the holy Qur’an, the word of Allah, has provided a method for getting over such emotions. Allah, the Almighty describes the righteous by saying:
“Who restrain anger,
And pardon (all) men;—
For God loves those
Who do good” Al-i Imran or the Family of Imran: 134
